As an "amateur" who has been taking dance classes all my life, but detoured to acting and writing, I am very excited to be part of the cast of Bolero Suburbia, the Westchester NY version of Larry Keigwin's Bolero NYC. (Keigwin + Company will be at the Joyce Theater in March.) Has anyone seen the NYC version of Bolero or danced in it? For more info on Bolero Suburbia see my article about the process on Examiner.com (which will be updated weekly): Inside Bolero Suburbia: From Audition to Performance by Melody Cooper
(Sorry, but I'm new here and currenty, the site won't let me post links. You can go to Examiner.com, choose New York, and search under my name, Melody Cooper. My bio and articles will come up.) |

That sounds like a really great opportunity Melody! Are you enjoying it? I'd imagine that it'd be really great to get back into dancing after taking a bit of a side trip like that |
